Tips For Choosing the Best Sunglasses
Today, sunglasses have become everyone's favorite accessory. People rarely leave home without them. Many of us take them wherever we go. Not only do they protect against UV rays, they also exude a lot of attitude. The world ultimately looks cooler and hipper through the shades. But with all the different trends coming on the scene, how do we pick the right shades? How does one know what style is best for their face?
Some tips to follow:
Square Face
Slightly curved frames with the top high enough on the face to downplay the jaw line are best. You could get aviator or wrap styles that suit your moods.
Round Face
Straight or angular frames in a deep color such as black or tortoise bring out the best in your face.
Triangular Face
With a broad forehead and a narrow mouth and chin, your face can be complemented with thinner rims and vertical lines.
Oblong Face
Kind of like the square face with a little more length, the shape of your face looks best with a frame that covers much of the center of your face.
Oval Face
Those with oval faces should choose more shapes than any other. You should always select frames in proportion to the size of your face.
While you definitely must think about shape, you should also consider frames that are proportional to your nose. Oversize frames balance out a large nose and short nosed people should find sunglasses with a high bridge and a light color. Long noses are played down by a double bridge and frames with high sidebars, which draws attention toward the temples. You should follow this rule of thumb: get shades that are a different shape than your face. This will enable you to get a style that fits well.
